A Convenient Solution for Manual Neutralization on Construction Sites
Our RUBAG neutralization kit is a practical set of tools for manually neutralizing small quantities of alkaline concrete wash water or construction site wastewater.
This portable neutralization kit consists of a pressure-reducing valve and a neutralization hose—all stored in a small carrying case. This ensures the neutralization equipment is quickly ready for use on the construction site and easy to transport from one location to another.
How does manual neutralization work?
The pH value of the construction site wastewater is lowered through targeted CO₂ injection. The CO₂ is fed from the gas cylinder through the hose in fine bubbles into the wastewater, forming carbonic acid, which neutralizes the pH value.
The pressure-reducing valve with an integrated heater is connected directly to the gas cylinder. The valve, specially developed by RUBAG, is significantly shorter than conventional pressure-reducing valves and is calibrated for the neutralization hose. This reduces gas consumption to the absolute minimum and saves costs.
Applications
- Small water protection systems or troughs
- Construction sites with small volumes of wastewater (e.g., wash water)
- For manual CO₂ dosing and pH measurement
For tanks 10m³ or larger, we recommend a digital neutralization system with automatic gas switching. Explore the rest of our water protection product line.
