The latest generation (7) of the YANMAR ViO27 offers more digging power, more stability, more ergonomics. Zero tail design

All ViO excavator models from Yanmar are true zero tail excavators, where neither the counterweight nor the front of the upper frame protrude beyond the track width. This allows for an extremely small swing radius and minimizes the blind spot at the rear, increasing safety for the operator and people near the excavator.

Easy trailer transportation

Weighing just 2.5 tons, the ViO27-7 mini excavator can be easily transported on a 3.5-ton car trailer. The low weight also allows a high degree of flexibility when carrying additional attachments.

4-pump hydraulic system

ViPPS hydraulic system with four hydraulic pumps, two variable displacement pumps and two gear pumps for an optimum combination of speed, power, lightness and balance for sensitive control and simultaneous execution of all work movements

Performance improvements

Tractive force increases by +12% compared to the previous generation, enabling efficient work over the blade. Digging force improved to 16.5 kN (+2 kN) for a better work cycle. Front lift stability increases to +11% and remains the same laterally (with weight reduction) to improve versatility on site. The increased swing angle of the left boom to 75° (+28°) for working over the left side ensures better visibility and increased safety on the construction site.

Efficient fuel consumption while maintaining first-class hydraulic performance and precision for lower costs and improved work performance. Safety valves (arm, boom and blade) as basic configuration, no compromise on safety! Auto-kickdown travel motors as basic configuration for more operator comfort and easier handling. Programmable automatic engine shutdown for reduced fuel consumption and costs.

Improved safety

Optimum all-round visibility thanks to larger windows for a complete overview of the construction site and safe working from all angles. Reversing camera as standard for the cab configuration for full rear visibility to prevent accidents and collisions with people and objects.

Operator comfort

Easy access to the cab with +18 % wider entrance compared to the previous generation. Improved ergonomic design of the drive pedals for safe and fatigue-free working, so that you always stay focused. Machine-operator interface: 4.3-inch color LCD monitor with all important information at a glance so you can concentrate on the job site. The floor mat is easily removable thanks to a pull-out tab, making cab cleaning quick and efficient while preventing debris from interfering with the controls - here for increased safety.
