Review of the ÖGA Horticulture Fair 2026

From June 24 to 26, 2026, RUBAG Baumaschinen AG was represented at the 33rd ÖGA in Koppigen. As Switzerland’s largest and most important trade fair for the green sector, the ÖGA brings together professionals from the gardening, landscaping, fruit, and vegetable cultivation industries every two years and is regarded as a key meeting place for innovations, machinery, and practical solutions. Despite an exceptional heat wave with temperatures exceeding 35 degrees on all three days of the fair, over 18,600 visitors attended the event. 

ÖGA 2026 was also a success for RUBAG. Numerous visitors took the opportunity to engage in insightful technical discussions and learn about our latest machines and trailers for gardening and landscaping.

Debut as an Exclusive YANMAR Dealer 

A special highlight of ÖGA 2026 for RUBAG was its first trade show as the exclusive YANMAR dealer for Switzerland. To mark this milestone, we unveiled the new generation of YANMAR compact machines in the distinctive YANMAR Premium Red for the first time. 

At the booth, visitors could experience the entire model range up close—from the compact SV08 and ViO12 to the all-electric SV17e and the high-performance models ViO23, ViO27, ViO38, ViO57, and SV86-7.

The high level of interest and the numerous positive responses demonstrated that the new YANMAR generation is a hit.

Innovative Solutions for Landscaping

In addition to the latest YANMAR crawler excavators, RUBAG showcased numerous machines and solutions for professional use in gardening and landscaping. These included, among others, the fully electric WB50E mini wheel dumper, the RUBAG 1840RHT wheel dumper with a new dump body, and various RUBAG trailers for daily use on construction sites.

Another special highlight of the trade show was the debut presentation of the RUBAG REBU 420 BW construction trailer. The model was developed in collaboration with RUBAG customers and combines high comfort with maximum functionality. The spacious staff compartment with wood interior paneling, the well-designed stock compartment with extensive standard equipment, and the high-quality exterior construction made of corrugated aluminum sheet metal make the REBU 420 BW a comfortable trailer solution for modern construction sites.

Focus on Personal Interaction

The popular RUBAG Wheel of Fortune, attractive instant prizes, and refreshments at our booth created a lively atmosphere throughout the trade show. With temperatures exceeding 35 degrees, the shaded seating areas were particularly in demand. A cool drink or an ice-cold ice cream provided the perfect opportunity to cool off a bit and engage in numerous interesting conversations. In addition to the machines, these personal encounters were the main focus.
